Dark cherry colour. Intense and mysterious nose, fruity and sylvan: black berry coulis, sweet spices, violet, burnt wood, oak moss. Precise, pulpy but also slightly constricted entry in the mouth. The wine develops to a crescendo, with good acidity and fine tannins that are not very pronounced but are present. Imposing finish but without heaviness. Important fruity presence that lacks neither depth nor verticality.

Viticulture

The metaPHUSIS range is made from grapes or wines purchased from respectful winemakers whose work and plots we know. This Gamay comes from several small plots, all located near Plan-Cerisier (Martigny region), on the steep hillside overlooking the beginning of the road leading to the Grand-St-Bernard pass. A large part of the vineyard comes from the place called "Soleil". The soils here are rather crystalline and notably rich in granite.
