Dark topaz colour with light green highlights. Intense nose of candied apricots, malt, cereals, black tea, sultanas and hints of roasting. Very rich and smooth on the palate from the outset. Winey, full-bodied and unctuous, with an extraordinary liqueur, patiently aged and balanced by nearly 7 years of ageing. Very complex, elegant, mineral finish.

Viticulture

This Pinot Gris comes from a schist terroir in the commune of Saillon. A few bunches of Sylvaner de treilles de Martigny and a few bunches of Pinot Gris de Corin are added to this late harvest.

Oenology

The harvest took place on 18 and 19 November and the must reached a temperature of almost 220°Oe! Immediately put into a new cask, it fermented for a long time and continued to age for almost 7 years... Unfiltered, the wine was bottled on 3 August 2022. With more than 400g of residual sugar, this wine is out of the ordinary, yet perfectly balanced.
