What is the life of the Club?
CAVE is an acronym for Club des Amateurs de Vins Exquis; Club members have its advantages, but it is open to all. Our credo: to make you travel and discover wines, reflections of their soil and resulting from a production respectful of the environment. We look forward to sharing our passion with you!
The life of the Club is punctuated by tastings and events with a publication in January and one in September of the program that runs mainly from March to June and from October to November. You will also find our magazine Vinifera published twice a year, because wine is also a liquid geography that invites you to travel!
• The spring edition is dedicated to the Bordeaux Primeurs. We go on site to taste the wines and help you make your choice: what is the vintage's rating, the must-haves, the price-pleasure ratio, etc.
NB Primeur sales are subscription sales: you have the opportunity to reserve wines that may no longer be available when they are put on the market 2 years later.
And this, at a price that is most of the time lower, even much lower, than the market price.
This is especially true for rare wines and large formats.
• The autumn edition invites you to (re)discover a region, an estate or themes related to wine.
The Wine School
The CAVE Wine School has over 1000 courses to its credit on many themes around the taste, of initiation to tasting to verticals of prestigious vintages, through initiations to sake, Japanese pastries and teas, we are always curious to walk on the oenophile and epicurean paths! You will find a history here (link to come).
