Barolo Sperss, Gaja - 2018

Made from the rare Rivette and Marenca vines, Sperss expresses the typical characteristics of Serralunga's Barolos: a powerful, elegant structure, rich with ripe, spicy tannins that only become more defined with age. The bouquet develops a dark, intense fruitiness of black cherry, liquorice and tar. A monument in its own right, the vintages have little effect on it!
