A wine that gently unfolds, inviting you to return for more from the very first sip. Produced from the ‘Le Bastard’ plot (yes, that's really its name), this Trousseau exemplifies the beautiful elegance of the Jura region. The nose opens with cherry and redcurrant, with notes of peony and a touch of spice. The palate is smooth, fresh and crisp, carried by very fine tannins. This is clearly a Jura wine, with a sense of precision and finesse reminiscent of certain Burgundy profiles. The overall impression is pure, lively and particularly easy to drink.

Oenology

30% whole bunch maceration. Maturation in casks and barrels for 10 months.

Veal fillet with chanterelle mushrooms • Roast pigeon • Carpaccio of porcini mushrooms and pheasant.
