Cavesa le CAVE, le club des amateurs de vins exquis

Langhe nebbiolo, Ël Sartu', Parusso (37.5 cl) - 2022

The estate decided to pay tribute to the Piedmontese dialect and to one of the most creative and fascinating professions in human history: the tailor, ÈL Sartù in the Piedmontese dialect. The result is a wine of proven tactile pleasure, precise, delicate, with fine and pleasant tannins, fragrant and very expressive. A perfect introduction to nebbiolo, impeccably cut and straightforward!

Viticulture

A 20 hectare estate located between Castiglione Falletto and Monforte d'Alba on a hill called Bricco Rovella. The estate is entirely grassed. This wine is produced from grapes from the localities of Ornati and Mosconi, between 350 and 450 m altitude.

Oenology

The best vineyards where the nebbiolo grapes are grown in Monforte d'Alba belonged to the local tailor, hence the desire to dedicate this label to this profession which has so many similarities with the work of the winemaker. Both professions require precision, taste, imagination, inventiveness and attention to detail.

Suggestions for accompaniment

Carne cruda à la piémontaise - Stuffed macaroni - Confit veal shank a la gremolata - Veal sweetbreads with tarragon.

Following in his father's footsteps, Marco Parusso, who was not initially destined for the wine business, finally decided to study oenology in Alba. He graduated in 1986 and became part of the generation of famous Barolese who made a name for themselves in the 90's, revolutionising the old style of the past.until 1985, the estate produced only one Barolo, blending all the vintages owned. But in 1986, things changed. That year was a bit special, as the vintage suffered a terrible hail in May. But above all, during the winter, the region experienced a scandal involving wines contaminated with methanol,...
