Mirabel has made a name for itself with this blend, which gives pride of place to syrah. It is perhaps one of the best value-for- money wines in the AOC today: a spicy wine, with notes of bramble and blackberry cream, very deep on the nose; the palate is of the same calibre, with fine tannins, ambitious yet balanced. Well done!

Viticulture

The spearhead of the estate. The terroir known as "de gravette" is made up of limestone fragments from the Upper Jurassic era bound by red clay. Located in the north of the appellation, it is one of the highest quality soils in the Pic St Loup, and is conducive to the production of wines with a natural fruitiness. We are here on old vines harvested manually. The grapes are destemmed and sorted. Conversion to organic farming is in progress.
