VdF Cabernet franc, P'tit Clou, Dom. de Mirebeau - B. Rochard - 2022

Made from old Cabernet Franc vines planted on clay gravel, this P'tit Clou is small in name only! It has a beautiful density of colour, but above all a ripe nose, with liquorice, blackcurrant, menthol and very sophisticated floral notes. The balance on the palate is marvellous, with a sensation of flesh and density that is rare for this grape variety. A little gem of Anjou Cabernet from a great winemaker.
