A close neighbour of Ausone, created in the 17th century, the 4 hectare vineyard stretches out in terraces on the splendid limestone slope, facing south and sheltered from the wind by the Bergat and La Clotte rocks. The soil is clay-limestone. The vines, which are on average 40 years old, are planted at a density of 6,000 vines per hectare. We prefer to concentrate on making great wine by limiting yields.
Oenology
The grapes are harvested by hand, vinified in stainless steel vats and matured in 60% new barrels and the rest in one-wine barrels.
