Cadillac, Clos du Château de Cadillac - 2017

On the hillsides that dominate the right bank of the Garonne, Cadillac can boast a winegrowing history that goes back more than two thousand years. This is the birthplace of some very fine sweet wines at low prices, which can compete with many Sauternes at the blind tasting. This one is a fine example: notes of candied fruit and mango, which sign the botrytis and precede a mellow, perfectly balanced mouth. A real bargain!
