Viticulture
The Fronsac appellation boasts excellent terroirs, with sandy clay-limestone and limestone soils that warm up very quickly. The Guinaudeaus therefore sought to create their ideal vineyard by purchasing plots of land. The idea was to focus on Cabernet Franc. Cultivated area: 3 hectares. Vines aged 20 years. Sustainable cultivation. Manual green harvesting adapted to climatic conditions (suckering, leaf removal, thinning).
Oenology
Hand-picked grapes; double sorting in the vineyard, third sorting in the winery. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats; gentle maceration, measured extraction. Aged for 15 months in oak barrels (1/3 new, 2/3 one wine).
