This is the kind of wine that gently captivates you... and revives you from the very first sip. Straight from the ‘Le Bastard’ plot (yes, that's really its name), this 2023 Trousseau is a lesson in Jura elegance. A charming nose of cherry, redcurrant, peony and a subtle hint of spice. On the palate, it is smooth, fresh and crisp, with incredibly fine tannins. This is Jura, but with an almost Burgundian vibe. It is pure, lively and incredibly drinkable.

Trousseau gracefully grown on clay and marl soils in the Lias period, in areas known as ‘les loges’ and ‘aux barbis’ in Montigny.

Oenology

30% whole bunch maceration. Maturation in casks and barrels for 10 months.

Veal fillet with chanterelle mushrooms • Roast pigeon • Carpaccio of porcini mushrooms and pheasant.
