The sunny days are here and the Vilain P’tit rouge is back. It has never been so expressive: the new vintage is indeed the most fruity, floral, slippery and refined produced to date, thanks in particular to a shorter – sulfur-free – maceration and the strong personality of the Malbec Tourangeau. Viticulture
The vines are 30 years old and yield around 35 hl/ha.
Oenology
The wines are aged in oak barrels. Renewal of one third (new wood, 1 and 2 wines).

Liquid geography
Representing the fifth generation, Vincent Ricard took over from his father in the family winery in Thésée-la-Romaine, one of the finest terroirs in the Loire for Sauvignon and other surprising and exciting grape varieties. The estate has been certified organic since 2016. The soils are worked to encourage deep rooting.
