Located on the heights of La Rinconada, the parcel adjoins the remarkable Sanford & Benedict locality. The terroir is deep, the soil dark and stony. The vines come from Mount Eden in Northern California.
In the cellar, two thirds of the grapes are kept whole. The wine is crushed and the cap is punched down during alcoholic fermentation, then matured in 228-litre barrels (30% of which are new) for 19 months.
