Viticulture

The Champanel terroir is characterised by a deep clay-limestone soil which lies on a moraine formed by glaciers more than ten thousand years ago. This south-south-east facing terroir favours an ideal ripening of the grapes. The vines are worked without chemicals or herbicides and in accordance with the lunar rhythms. Leaf removal and harvesting are done by hand and the harvest is strictly limited.
