For CAVE members, his name inevitably brings to mind a familiar face. Laurent Villard, a longtime companion on this journey for over thirty years, divides his time between the Club and his own estate, Les Parcelles, in Anières. Located just a stone’s throw from the French border, Laurent and his partner, Véronique, produce some of Geneva’s finest wines. What sets them apart? They make wine without owning any vineyards, carefully selecting grapes from three partner winemakers. It’s a free-spirited and incredibly effective approach. Gault & Millau recently named them among the canton’s six best estates!
