Aromas of orange blossom, marzipan, ripe apple and a subtle woodiness – it’s all there on the nose. On the palate, sweetness and balance take centre stage, carried by a salinity that stretches the finish without ever letting go. Dried apricot returns on the after-taste, along with that mineral purity so characteristic of Etna whites. Precise, luminous, utterly charming.

Viticulture

Alta Mora Bianco is produced on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, where Carricante vines grow at altitudes of between 600 and 900 metres, in mineral-rich volcanic soil containing ash. The intensity of the sun, the coolness of the heights and the wide temperature variations sculpt a wine of great purity, taut and vibrant, with a salinity and energy that are the hallmarks of the great whites of Etna.
