DOP Cebreros, Navatalgordo, Comando G - 2023

A high-altitude Grenache, full of tension and precision. Made from old granite vines perched at over 1,000 metres in the Sierra de Gredos, this 2023 is one of the most refined and vertical profiles in the Comando G range. The strikingly pure nose combines fresh raspberry, redcurrant, blood orange zest and a touch of finely infused garrigue. On the palate, the wine impresses with its brightness and energy: a chiselled structure, filigree acidity, an ultra-digestible, almost airy texture, carried by extremely fine chalky tannins. The perfectly integrated ageing allows the saline minerality and granite signature of the Navatalgordo terroir to express themselves.
