T-Oinos is the first wine to be produced in 3000 years on this land on the volcanic island of Tinos, a World Heritage Site in the Cyclades. Alexander Avatangelos, a philosopher and theologian by training, has a 10-hectare vineyard located in the central-eastern part of the island at an altitude of 400 metres. In order to preserve the beauty of the place, the vineyard is cultivated organically. The soil is sandy on a bed of granite.
