Viticulture
Average age of the vines: 50 to 80 years (the oldest in the whole AOC!). 2.5 hectares of terraced vineyards with southern and south-eastern exposure on biotite granite soil, a cadastral site located in Condrieu, the heart of the Appellation's origin. The very uneven vineyard makes mechanisation impossible. The vines are maintained manually. Treatments are carried out with organic products. 8000/10000 vines/hectare. 7000 bottles. Single Guyot pruning.
Oenology
Harvested by hand, at full maturity (13-14°) in boxes. Direct pressing of whole grapes, static settling and fermentation in barrels. Aged in barrels on fine lees for 12 to 18 months (25% new wood) with stirring.
