  • Domain: Christophe Abbet
  • Grape variety(ies): Marsanne et petite arvine

Notes of candied apricot, mocha, dried fruit, candied citrus and cinnamon. Less marked by controlled oxidation than in previous vintages (Amber is aged in new barrels for five years), this wine marks a kind of stylistic break in recent production. Superb liquor, perfectly integrated with a dimension of energy that will take it far into the future.

Domain
Christophe Abbet is an unclassifiable winemaker and the enfant terrible of the Valais. On the terroirs of Martigny and Fully, he produces some of the most original wines of the region. In particular his sweet wines, incredible wines of time, which he makes in his small cellar in Martigny-Bourg. These wines are the peaks of the Valais in their category! Baroque wines, flirting with fruit or spice horizons according to the vintage.
