Beautiful dark colour. Wonderful nose of floral, spice and fruit. Everything seems already blended and in place. Smooth on the palate. Beautiful fullness of flavour with a mellow texture. There is delicacy and consistency. The texture is dazzling and very flexible. Endless finish. ‘On the nose, you can smell violets, a precursor to truffles, and the immortal side between wisteria and chamomile, and you have to catch it,’ as Alexandre Thienpont aptly describes it.
