The nose is rather exuberant, greedy and voluptuous, an ‘immortelle nose’ according to Alexandre Thienpont, a photo with a very defined grain. The nose opens with a basket of fruit that forms the central trunk, with a rooted part that anchors it and a fruity part that gives it volume and fullness. Maturing will give it even more structure.

The estate makes the most of its different soils: clay on the Petrus side, gravel on the Gravette side and sand, which allows it to grow several grape varieties and thus add complexity to its bouquet. But we had to drain the soil intelligently to optimise these natural qualities.
