A true 'little Charlemagne' in terms of its terroir and quality, the Frétille from this estate is a real white wine for laying down, with very fine notes of lemon, enhanced by discreet hints of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and of excellent quality, with an impression of sapidity that should rise to a crescendo with ageing. The finish is incisive and very "chalky". A must for this vintage!
