Morgon Corcelette V.V., Cailloux, Daniel Bouland - 2024

Daniel Bouland, a winemaker with golden hands, has become an absolute reference over the years. His Morgon vieilles vignes - now available in four cuvées, three of which are parcel-based - is a must. The Cailloux version has a deep nose of liquorice and spices. It has fantastic density on the palate, with mouth-watering tannins and an interminable finish. It will age for many years!

Viticulture

This cuvée comes from two 80 year old vines located on the Corcelette terroir. Soils of pure granite more or less decomposed. It is a high altitude area, later and cooler than the other climates of Morgon.

Oenology

Aged in old tuns for 8 months.

Sausage in a crust - Stuffed cabbage - Grilled aubergine salad with herbs.
