In Cully, by the lake, the vines of Plant Robert flourish in sandy soil with little limestone. The sweetness of the terroir is perceptible; a spicy wine of great finesse, almost reminiscent of pinot noir or some of the great Fleurie wines of Beaujolais. And yet we are in the land of Lavaux. A magnificent wine!
