Viticulture

A surprising terroir, seemingly unsuited to producing great wines (too gentle a slope, thin layer of Pyrenean gravel, marl outcrops preventing deep rooting!) And yet the results are there! It undoubtedly took a great deal of drainage work to optimize the soil and subsoil, and the scents of acacia and pine on the edge of the forest must influence the resinous character of the wines' complex, elegant bouquet. We can only applaud the exceptional character of this cru and its ability to produce top-class whites.
