Viticulture

A blend of indigenous grapes from the Capelinhos region on the island of Faial and the 'lajidos' of Criação Velha on the island of Pico. Two different areas, each with its own 'uniqueness', for a wine with an absolutely unique balance.

Oenology

Harvested by hand, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in ovoid cement vats for 10 months, then 4 months in oak barrels.

Suggestions for accompaniment

Grilled sea bass with samphire - Scallops with citrus fruit - Saint-Pierre en papillote.
