Definition: Durize

While some consider Durize to be related to Cornalin, others believe it belongs to the large Orious family. Whatever the case, this grape variety has a lot of character and produces fruity, robust, tannic wines that are slightly rustic. In Valais, there are only 6,500 m² of this grape variety left, mainly located between Saillon and Fully.
