A Burgundy appellation in the Côte de Beaune region. Production area located north of Beaune, more precisely within the communes of Aloxe-Corton, Ladoix-Serrigny and Pernand-Vergelesses in the Côte d'Or department. Classified as an AOC grand cru in 1937. Area under production: 50 ha 90 a. The appellation covers a total of 72 hectares. White grape variety: Chardonnay, vinified as white wine only. It can be kept for 5 to 15 years, or even longer depending on the vintage. Ideal serving temperature: between 8 and 10°C. Enjoy with lobster, crayfish, crayfish or veal sweetbreads in a casserole.
