Côtes-du-Rhône blanc, La Borry, Domaine Saint-Amant - 2019

In 2019, a very fine vintage, we discover a white wine with accents of flowers (almond, honeysuckle) and white fruit (white peach) typical of the high altitude terroir of Suzette (500 m in altitude!). On the palate, it is strikingly lively, without an ounce of alcohol, with a salinity reminiscent of arvine. A very nice surprise.

Viticulture

Small stony terraces of marl and limestone above 500m altitude, facing south and east.

Oenology

Harvested 100% by hand, by a small family team, during the 2nd half of September and until October 4. Vinification ¾ stainless steel tank, ¼ oak tank. T° controlled to stay below 15°. No malolactic fermentation. Yield: Between 30 and 35 Hl/ha. Total production: 17,000 bt.
