Viticulture
Situated on the extension of the first slope just after the Pavie slope, Clos Puy Arnaud is planted on a clay-limestone terroir on asteriated limestone and Castillon limestone. The entire vineyard is farmed using organic methods to enhance the estate's vitality. Yields are around 30 hl/ha at a planting density of between 5,000 and 6,600 vines/ha.
Oenology
Harvested by hand and sorted in the cellar. Vinification in wooden vats (75%) and cement vats (25%), fermentation using natural yeasts. Malolactic fermentation and ageing in barrels with a single racking (60% new wood).
