Domaine Vieux Donjon, located in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, is one of the appellation's most famous producers. The vines, grown on stony, well-exposed soils, benefit from the region's warm, dry climate. The blend of traditional grape varieties (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre) produces a rich, spicy wine with aromas of red and black fruit, garrigue and liquorice.
