Viticulture

The invention of the bottle allowed the wine to be protected from air and light, allowing it to travel and age well. Château les Carmes Haut-Brion has chosen to pay tribute to an emblematic Bordeaux container, forgotten since the 1950s: the Marie-Jeanne. With its low, flared shape, this unique bottle with a capacity of 2.25l was initially designed to give the wine a longer life.

Oenology

It has been replaced over the years by thinner bottles for easier transport. A combination of tradition and modernity, this box revives the history of the Marie-Jeanne and offers you the promise of a timeless sensory discovery.
