A stone's throw from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this wine comes from the magnificent terroir of rolled pebbles and red clay situated to the north of the commune of Courthézon. The vines are cultivated without pesticides or insecticides and the manure is of natural origin. The soil is worked without weedkillers to maintain the aeration and flexibility of the soil. Yield: 40 hl/ha. Extensive green harvesting of Syrah and Mourvèdre.
Oenology
80% de-stemming. Maceration for 18 to 21 days and manual punching down once a day. Aged 75% in barrels (of which 1/3 are new) for the Syrah and Mourvèdre and 25% in tuns for the Grenache, for 12 months.
