Viticulture
Brunello Rennina comes from three non-contiguous vineyards forming a whole of about 10 ha. The soil composition is mainly clay and limestone. The vines are about 30 years old.
Oenology
Each vineyard is vinified separately and fermented in stainless steel for about 3 weeks. After being aged separately in oak barrels for twenty months, the different vineyards are blended and continue to be aged for one year in tuns and then two years in bottles. The first vintage produced by Gaja is 1994.
