Viticulture

The vineyard starts at 200 m. altitude with carignan on a schist terroir and climbs through the white oak woods to 380 m. on sandstone where the majority of the Grenache vines are in goblet form, with a little Cinsault and some Syrahs on stakes. The terraces of stone and eroded earth face east, to the east. Same organic philosophy as for all the vines on the estate.

Oenology

Gentle vinification as usual, but here more particularly because the maturities are sometimes long to reach their optimum. Aged in demi-muids. Maturation for one year on fine lees and bottling after 12 to 14 months.
