St-Joseph blanc, Dom. du Monteillet (magnum) - 2020

  • Provenance: Northern Côtes du Rhône
  • Appellation: St-Joseph
  • Domain: Du Monteillet, S. Montez
  • Grape variety(ies): 58% de vieilles vignes de Marsanne et 42% de Roussane
  • On-call time: 12 years
  • Alcohol degree: 13%
White wines represent only 10% of the Saint-Joseph appellation, which makes them a rarity. The blend of old vines of marsanne and roussane gives here a straw yellow wine, tending to gold, brilliant. The nose is very developed and refined, with notes of orchard fruits and white flowers. On the palate it is a fat, salty and long wine, ideal for the table. A delightful wine. Guide Vert RVF: 89/100
