Very ripe nose, with notes of plum and macerated fruit. Full body, flared, with a very enveloping, consistent texture. The mid-palate reveals a very pulpy and fleshy sensation. The finish is very ripe, fleshy, deliciously sunny, with hints of pepper and cedar on a spicy frame.

Viticulture

François Mitjaville (Tertre Roteboeuf in St-Emilion) masterfully revived this property over thirty years ago, importing here the viticultural model that had proved successful at Tertre as well as his taste for very high grape maturity and opulent character.

Oenology

Aged 100% in new barrels. The vineyard is located on the first line of the slope of the appellation: the part located at the bottom of the slope is vinified and matured separately and is bottled under the name of Domaine de Cambes.
