This was one of Jérémie Huchet's best tasted wines at this year's Wine Paris! Produced from a beautiful granite terroir and rigorously farmed organically, this is an open, expressive wine, with citrus fruit and spices, saline, crisp on the palate, aniseed and floral on the finish. It will be a hit with seafood en papillote or mussels with aniseed! Guide Vert RVF: 90/100

Viticulture

The terroir is unique: it is a granite (granodiorite with biotite and hornblende) known as Château-Thébaud granite. It represents only an island in the heart of the Muscadet vineyard, around 4%. These granite terroirs, which are "very advanced in their alteration", provide both excellent natural water drainage and very good rooting for the vines.
