Another great success for Laroque and one of the outsiders of the vintage. Magnificent nose of black fruit, infusion and lemon balm. The palate is straightforward and rigorous. Ripe and fresh at the same time, this is a wine of great beauty, with superb constitution and goldsmith's tannin.

En 2010, Jacques Thienpont rachète le domaine de l'If, idéalement situé sur le plateau de Saint-Émilion, face au village et à côté du Château Troplong Mondot. La première décennie d’exploitation et de restructuration du vignoble s'achève, avec aujourd’hui quatre hectares qui ont été replantés sur les huit. Les premières récoltes des nouvelles plantations sont prometteuses et expriment bien l’énergie et la minéralité de leur terroir argilo-calcaire.
