The vines are 50 years old on average, planted at 11,000 vines/ha. East facing, gently sloping, with granite soils close to Moulin-à-Vent. There is in fact little soil, the mother rock being located a few centimetres from the surface, which gives the wines finesse and delicacy.
Aged in tuns and vats, so as not to mark the wines and to respect the delicacy of the Fleurie cru, a delicacy that Michel Chignard loves so much.
