Since taking over the family estate in 2007, Cédric Chignard has established himself among the “heir winemakers,” introducing subtle quality-driven adjustments. While the Beaujolais maceration method, passed down by his father, remains at the heart of his winemaking, he has refined his approach with greater precision while continuing to meticulously tend the vineyards. The estate, with vines averaging over sixty years old, is primarily located in the Moriers sector, in the northern part of the appellation, where the terroir produces wines with very floral aromas and exceptionally refined tannins.
