Viticulture

This is an amazing terroir, apparently not very suitable for producing great wines (too gentle a slope, thin layer of Pyrenean gravel, outcrops of marl preventing deep rooting!) And yet the result is there! It was undoubtedly necessary to do a lot of drainage work to optimise the soil and subsoil, and the scents of acacia and pine on the edge of the forest must influence the resinous character of the complex and elegant bouquet of the wines. One can only salute the exceptional character of the vineyard and its ability to produce top class whites.
