Definition: vinolog (postlogistics)

For shipping with VinoLog, you can use the original cardboard box or wooden crate. We do not have any photos on our website. You can send a maximum of 1, 3, 6 or 12 bottles per shipment. The price remains the same. This is a unit price per shipment and not by weight like ordinary parcels. For sending individual bottles, we recommend using Vinopac packaging or the PostPac 5 from the Post Office and sending them as ordinary parcels.

In addition to transport, La Poste delivers the goods with the utmost care from door to door, while taking care of the logistics. La Poste collects VinoLog parcels from the producer or wine merchant in their original packaging. Wine merchants can also drop off VinoLog parcels at one of the nearby VinoLog drop-off points (see VinoLog brochure, 2007 edition). For large merchants, Swiss Post collects the goods directly from customs and takes care of all customs formalities. La Poste ensures delivery by PostLogistics transport to Dintikon throughout Switzerland. For large VinoLog customers (3,000 or more VinoLog parcels per year), parcels are delivered two to three working days after the day of deposit or collection. For other VinoLog customers, parcels are delivered between three and five working days after the day of deposit or collection.
