Appellation and cru from the Beaujolais region. Production area located within plots in the commune of Fleurie in the Rhône department. Classified as an AOC cru in 1936. Production area slightly over 860 hectares. Black grape variety: Gamay. The incorporation of white grape varieties such as Aligoté, Chardonnay, Pinot and Melon into the vineyards is permitted, provided that they do not exceed 15%. Vinified in red only. It can be kept for 2 to 5 years depending on the vintage. Ideal serving temperature for enjoyment is between 13 and 14°C, at room temperature for a slightly older wine. Enjoy with parsley ham, veal blanquette, grilled andouillette sausage, roast chicken, poultry fricassee, leg of lamb, duck terrine or frog legs with garlic cream and parsley mousse.
