Back
It was a real gamble on the future, as before his death, the canon officially gave permission to use his name "Kir" to designate a white wine with blackcurrant liqueur at Maison Lejay Lagoute, creator of crème de cassis in Dijon. Fine dining establishments serve it with champagne. See Kir.
