This cuvée is the result of a blend of different parcels located on the left bank of the Vienne River and having the same soil profile. With its predominantly clay and limestone slopes and plateaus, it offers a very beautiful taffeta wine (to use Rabelais’ word!) with floral, peppery and spicy aromas, which stretches out with finesse, sinuous, delicious. Viticulture

This cuvée corresponds in fact to the former cuvée Jeunes Vignes, renamed to evoke the gravelly terroirs of the Vienne valley and their chalky mother rock, and to take into account the ageing and maturing of these vines.

Oenology

Here, the winemaking method is similar to that of the Cuvée Terroir but the selected vines give greater density and complexity. The estate only takes free-run wine (natural flow of juice after alcoholic fermentation), which gives more purity and finesse.
