Viticulture

The vineyard adjoins Montrose on a good half of its surface. Soil type: clayey gravel. Since 2002, the property has been extended by the acquisition of the 25 ha of Ch. Houissant, a superb hillock on the best terroir, the highest in Saint-Estèphe, neighbouring Montrose. The aim is to include 2/3 of these remarkable vines in the great wine of Phélan.
