Area under vine (red wine): 48 ha (total area: 57 ha). Soil type: Quaternary Günzian gravel, situated on the plateau overlooking the village of Martillac. Double Guyot training system for Cabernet Sauvignon, Cordon training for Merlot and Petit Verdot. Planting density: 7,200 vines per hectare. Average age of the vineyard: 25 years. Traditional cultivation with mechanical soil maintenance. Integrated pest management. Manual green pruning: suckering, de-suckering, leaf removal, de-shooting and thinning.
